What is in a functional mushroom drink

These are functional mushrooms. Lion’s mane, reishi, cordyceps, chaga and turkey tail are culinary and traditional-use mushrooms, and they are not intoxicating.

The thing worth checking on any label is what part of the mushroom you are getting. Fruiting body extract is the mushroom itself. Mycelium on grain is the root network grown on rice or oats, and the grain comes along with it. Extract ratios like 8:1 tell you how concentrated it is.

How to use it

There is no dose to time here. These are traditionally taken regularly rather than as a one-off, which is why most people who like them keep them in the fridge and work through a case.
